Rhodes town is the capital of the island in the Greek East Aegean Sea with about 57,000 inhabitants and is situated at the northern tip of Eilandes. The entire old town of Rhodes city consists of narrow, narrow streets, which are repeatedly interrupted by smaller squares with romantic taverns and some mosques. There also have a fantastic view of the entire city of Rhodes from the Platia Ippokratu, a picturesque place with a magical OWL well.
The actual tourist mile lies slightly southwest of the old town. Odos Sokratous invite numerous small shops and restaurants to enjoy. By far the most popular beach of the city of Rhodes is the Elli Beach on the East side of the island. The windgeschütze beach is ideal for families with children. There are sunbeds and snack bars.
